To balance the higher education needs of Pinal County students with the remnants of a challenging economy that has impacted area taxpayers, Central Arizona College

President Doris Helmich said she is tapping into the creativity of employees for cost containment ideas.

Also: Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Jill M. Broussard has announced the appointment of Jack Yarrington to the Central Arizona College Governing Board.

Mr. Yarrington will fill the vacancy created as a result of the death of his wife and Governing Board President, Linda Yarrington.
