Congrats to Tom Duensing, who becomes new Maricopa assistant manager

Tom Duensing, finance director for the City of Maricopa, was named the new assistant City manager Monday by City manager Brenda Fischer.

Tom DuensingThe permanent position was vacant since Danielle Casey left to become economic development director for the City of Scottsdale; her last day with Maricopa was June 6. Cynthia Seelhammer recently filled in as the interim assistant city manager.

Duensing will assume his new role as of July 1 and will oversee the community services, development services and finance and administrative services departments, according to a city press release.
