Frisoni named interim Glendale assistant city manager

Glendale City Manager Brenda Fischer announced that Julie Frisoni, the city’s executive communication director, has been hired as interim assistant city manager while Horatio Skeete is on administrative leave.

“It is an administrative decision based upon my needs in leading the city,” Fischer said. “Additionally, since I’m new, her history and relationships with staff, the council, and the public are an asset that allows her to hit the ground running and assist me in leading the city.”

Frisoni, who has been in her position 11 years, was chosen by Fischer based on her dealing with numerous city departments and respect of her peers.
