Congrats to winners of 2013 Arizona Better Newspapers contest

The Arizona Republic was named daily Newspaper of the Year and the Arizona Capitol Times was chosen non-daily Newspaper of the Year on Saturday in the Arizona Newspapers Association’s 2013 Better Newspapers Contest.

The Daily Courier of Prescott won the Associated Press Member of the Year award, which goes to a member newspaper for outstanding cooperation. The Daily Courier was singled out for outstanding cooperation during and in the aftermath of the deadly Yarnell Hill wildfire.
