Maricopa County leads pack of school-installed solar for APS

Schools are adopting solar energy in Maricopa County at a pretty fast rate, at least in the territory controlled by Arizona Public Service. The utility has seen more than 111 megawatts of solar installed on schools within its service territory, and Maricopa County schools account for more than 72 megawatts on 187 installations.
