Now, he is a partner and chairman of the firm’s medical marijuana law group.
“(Rose) is really good at finding what people are good at and allowing them to succeed in that area,” he said.
“She promotes this sense of gratitude. I’ve never had that in any other job I’ve had,” said Jennifer Hall, a project manager at the law firm.
As one of Rose’s original employees, Hall has seen the firm’s culture grow into a great team atmosphere.
“We have a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude — but at the same time, we don’t let the stress and the pressure get to us,” she said.
One way Rose Law combats employee stress is by providing a company concierge: Michelle Leighton runs personal errands for everyone at the firm, such as picking up dry cleaning and taking pets to the vet. In addition, stylists come to the office to cut employees’ hair, saving them time and money.
The firm also has a cereal bar, lets its employees bring their pets to work, and hosts Friday fun nights, among other perks.
