Rose Law Group expands into cyber-law, hiring expert in the field

Cyber final copyNEWS RELEASE

As we start 2014, Rose Law Group is thrilled to announce the acquisition of an innovative new practice area through the hiring of a true pioneer in the field of online reputation management and cyber-defamation.

Chris Ingle ( left in photo) watched as business, friends and children of clients were defamed online, with the only remedy being to hire a SEO firm, promising (for a high fee) the defamatory statements would be ranked lower in a search, hoping future employers, customers and friends would not see the harmful false statements.

Ingle found this unjust and called to find a legal solution that would have the false statements not just ranked lower but erased entirely .  He  applied his significant experience in Internet and intellectual property law and has pioneered and perfected a legal resolution to restoring reputation online where the offending false statements no longer exist as a result of an Internet search.

Ingle and his team have felt quite gratified in successfully restoring good people and businesses’ hard-earned reputations. It is unfortunate false words posted online can have such a disastrous effect on everyday life, but this is a reality we all must come to understand. That said, Rose Law Group recognizes the importance of fighting against these defamatory acts and is honored to have Chris Ingle and his former law partner, Logan Elia, join our team.  They, along with Evan Bolick, will provide the following cutting edge services:

Online Defamation

Online Reputation Management

Internet Domain Name Conflicts

Cybersquatting

Cyberpiracy

Cyberbullying

False Online Reports

Rose Law Group’s Cyber-Law team is made up of attorneys who know the emerging landscape of the law as it interacts with computers and the Internet.

Internet fraud, online defamation and reputation management, false online reports, intellectual property rights violations, domain name disputes, cyber-bullying and cyber-squatting are just a few of the types of cases routinely handled. Chris Ingle comes to Rose Law Group as a pioneer Internet attorney, having years of experience litigating all kinds of disputes involving computer-related civil actions, Internet-related disputes, domain name issues, and cybers-quatting/cyber-piracy, attracting clients from around the globe who have had issues and handling the following:

Internet domain name conflicts

Cyber-bulling

Cyber-squatting

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

Communications Decency Act

The Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP)

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)

New policies, regulations, and legal disputes continually evolve in relation to the Internet and “new media.” Too often, many attorneys who focus on business law are not necessarily well-versed in Internet law.   Our Cyber- Law Department has ‎ comprehensive knowledge of traditional business law combined with detailed knowledge of the most up-to-date legal information involving computers, the Internet, and new media devices such as cell phones, app development, and e-commerce. Whether you have a concern related to downloading of digital media or you have a dispute related to Internet business law and taxation, we have the resources, the experience and the knowledge to help you protect your rights and your assets.
