PHOENIX* (February 5, 2014) – The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Phoenix has named a Hines employee the
Building Engineer of the Year. Robert Bonilla’s peers nominated him for the honor.
“This award is a direct reflection of the respect that Robert has gained among his colleagues in the Phoenix market and in the industry,”

Bonilla is the general engineering manager at Renaissance Square. Since Hines acquired the property in 2007, Bonilla has led
Renaissance Square to six consecutive ENERGY STAR(R) certifications, as well as a LEED(R) Gold certification. In 2013, the property won BOMA of Greater
Phoenix’s Kilowatt Krackdown award for having the highest reduction in kilowatt hours (kWH) year after year for a building over 500,000 square
feet. Bonilla celebrated his 18th year at Hines this January. Hines is a privately owned real estate firm involved in real
