Mesa Mayor says zero tolerance for unruliness at Monday’s meeting

Dreamland Villa Golf Course is being proposed to be replaced with 228 two-story homes and the residents in two neighboring age-restricted communities are up in arms. They don’t like the idea of families living next to their age restricted communities…because, kids are bad? Changing the nature of their neighborhood is one thing, but being opposed to something nearby is interesting indeed. No doubt about it, they are angry though, and will get to state their case on May 19th when the Council hears the request. At the Feb 19th P&Z hearing, there were multiple disruptions from the crowd of angry neighbors that Mayor Finter says will not be tolerated at the Council hearing May 19th.
