Paid advertisements on city vehicles? Apache Junction City Council approves guidelines

Paid advertising on city of Apache Junction vehicles could become a reality in the not-so-distant future.

At its regular meeting Tuesday, June 3, the Apache Junction City Council approved guidelines for its Corporate Partnership Program, including seeking revenue by selling advertising space on city vehicles.

The CPP seeks to determine alternate revenue sources for Apache Junction, Brad Steinke, the city’s development services director, said during a phone interview June 5.
