Candidates for Scottsdale City Council aired their views on economic development, the Scottsdale Unified School District override and other key topics at a July 10 forum.

Eight candidates will appear on the ballot for three council seats.

They are small-business owner Michael Auerbach; health and fitness entrepreneur Bill Crawford; non-profit executive Cindy Hill; computer-company treasurer Kathy Littlefield; incumbent and banker Linda Milhaven; former Scottsdale Unified School District governing board President Jennifer Petersen; incumbent, attorney and auto-service franchisee Dennis Robbins; and retired Scottsdale City Treasurer David N. Smith.
