Pulte seeks to win over Ahwatukee homeowners

Homeowners generally regard a golf-course view from their backyard as added value to their property.

Those whose homes abut the closed Ahwatukee Lakes Golf Club, however, have lost their lush view and are furious that the deteriorating property is harming their home values. Since its closure by owner Wilson Gee on May 6, 2012, the course has become an eyesore with browning grass, bare patches, weeds and now lakes being pumped dry.
