In recent weeks, Chandler shifted zoning from industrial to multifamily residential on Wood Partners downtown Alta Chandler luxury homes (AZBEX, Jun. 14). Even with a railroad track running through much of central Chandler, the small industrial parcels lining the tracks are too small to handle today’s industrial projects.

Now the city has given approval to a second project a little further north at Ray Road at Arizona Avenue.
