Time is of the essence in San Tan Valley

With a population on its way to 100,000, San Tan Valley can’t wait much longer to address the issue of incorporation, a Pinal County supervisor told Florence Reminder.

“If this area wants to incorporate, they need to do it sooner rather than later,” Todd House of Apache Junction said at a San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting at Central Arizona College’s San Tan Campus.

Adam Stevens, a Republican candidate in Legislative District 16, added, “Population-wise, I think we’re well past the point of not looking at it. I think we need to look at incorporation seriously. Otherwise, we’re going to be over 100,000 as an island and that needs to change.”
