Despite the continued 4th Quarter fiscal year stagnation – with only a 3.3 percent rise in June following similar single-digit climbs for April and May – construction activity in Arizona closed out at $11.4B for the fiscal year, a 13.2 percent increase over the previous term.

May posted $947M in construction sales followed by $953M in June. The sales data are generated by the Arizona Department of Revenue’s monthly Tax Facts report. Taxable sales = construction activity since construction is a taxable activity in the state.
