Phoenix at the bottom of construction jobs

COnstructionPhoenix lost more construction jobs over the past year than any other metro area, according to Associated General Contractors.

The Valley lost 5,000 construction jobs between August 2013 and August 2014,

As Phoenix continues to lose construction workers, close to two-thirds of metro areas saw employment gains in the industry since last August.

The local losses are compounded by the fact other Western markets, even some hit hard by the recession, are adding construction jobs.
