Phoenix officials said it is normal to see single-family development before retail and jobs in new growth areas of the city
Developers plan to build the 5,373-square-foot stand alone, single-story lab near the Mayo Clinic
Councilman Jim Waring, who represents the area, said people move there for quality of life
Northeast Phoenix residents soon will see some new development, including five single-family housing projects.
The area also will get a lab building and a storage facility. A new golf shop that allows golfers to take lessons inside a store opened this month.
