Feds accuse Prescott, Chandler of group home discrimination

Prescott was not the only Arizona city to receive a federal complaint recently about its regulations on group homes.

Prescott City Attorney Jon Paladini told the City Council that the Phoenix-area community of Chandler also received a complaint from the U.S. Development of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in December regarding its regulations on group homes.

A HUD spokesman confirmed late Tuesday that the department issued a recent housing-discrimination complaint to the City of Chandler, although he declined to comment on the details of the complaint.
