[MEDIA] Queen Creek radio goes high tech

kqck Live Radio flag tower 2In the earliest days of commercial television, local stations in the fledgling medium generally were a spinoff from an established radio station. In the digital age, the same thing is happening at KQCK.

Now known as KQCK Radio and Television Network, the online radio station recently upgraded to high-definition video and audio and its programming is simulcast as part of the Roku network, and kqck.com.

“Some people aren’t savvy on the Internet, we had the opportunity to bring our programming to television,” Joe Carrerio Jr., CEO of KQCK, said. “We decided to go for it.
