Fox Restaurant Concepts sold its pizza brand, Sauce Pizza and Wine, to a group led by local restaurateur Scott Kilpatrick.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Kilpartrick is one of the founders of RA Sushi. He helped grow that brand into 25 locations across the country.
Phoenix-based Fox never want to become “too big,” a company spokeswoman said.
FRC creates and grows successful restaurants, then sell them in order to create new concepts and focus on other existing concepts, the spokeswoman added.
