A new Tilted Kilt restaurant and office space for that company’s headquarters may soon rise on an empty parcel just west of Warner Road and Priest Drive in Tempe.

Plans for the 2.6-acre parcel include a single-story building, with a 9,409SF restaurant and 1,576SF office space for a total of nearly 11KSF. The office space will be used as the training center for the company.

The site had received Development Plan Review approval in 2013 for a new 21K-SF, two-story building with a restaurant and office headquarters above. The modified plans reduce the area of development and building size to just the restaurant and office space for now.

Design of the restaurant incorporates sand pebble finished E.I.F.S. with column accents of stone veneer, which will wrap the base of the building and carry up the sides of the entrance. Windows will be shaded by fabric canopies and the roof will be finished with copper-colored coping. A dining patio will be located on the northeast corner of the building.
