Avondale to get $8M ‘Main Event’

The family entertainment venue Main Event is building a 58KSf, $8M site on the southwest corner of 103rd Avenue and McDowell Road in Avondale.

Parkland Development, LLC will break ground in March on the 43-acre, mixed-use project whose first anchor tenant, Main Event Entertainment, is the fastest growing bowling-anchored entertainment center in America.

Main Event signed a lease for 58KSF in Phase 1 of the Park 10 project, which includes 10 acres on the eastern edge of the property. In addition to the Main Event building, Phase 1 will include three outparcel grade pads along McDowell Road.

The architect is Texas-based Hodges & Associates, civil is Hunter Engineering, landscape architect is Laskin & Associates and general contractor is A.R. Mays Construction of Scottsdale.
