A new commercial shopping center is one step closer to construction after being approved by members of the Queen Creek Planning and Zoning Commission during their Feb. 11 regular meeting.
QC District is planned on a 20-acre parcel on the northeast corner of Ellsworth Loop Road and Maya Road, according to information in the zoning commission packet.
The site is bordered on the west, east and south sides by existing commercial centers such as Queen Creek Marketplace, Queen Creek Crossroads and Queen Creek Fiesta. The north side of the development borders the Queen Creek Unified School District bus depot and fueling station, according to the packet.
