Pinal groundwater plan delayed for months

It will be at least a few more months before the draft version of the fourth management plan for Pinal Active Management Area is ready, according to the Arizona Department of Water Resources.

The new plan won’t differ much from the existing plan, Jeff Tannler, statewide active management area director for ADWR, told the Pinal area Groundwater Users Advisory Group Tuesday.

The focus of the plan will shift, he said, to achieving the Pinal AMA’s goals and finding solutions.
