The Sam Fox empire continues to grow, this time with one of his fast food endeavors.

But worry not – there will be no drive-thrus or Big Macs cranked out.

Spokeswoman Allie Marconi told Dealmaker the restaurateur’s second location of Flower Child, with a 3,572 square-foot interior and 1,123 square-foot patio, is scheduled to open early May in north Scottsdale, 10460 N. 90th Street.

The empire now includes 15 concepts with 46 locations in eight states.

“The north Scottsdale area is really booming and we always want to make sure to touch different parts of the Valley,” she said.

It’s healthy fast food.

The restaurant uses proteins raised naturally without additives and organic produce, she said.

“Flower Child focuses on happy food for a happy world with healthy and organic food and drinks in a fast casual atmosphere,” Marconi said.

This might include the Red Chili Glazed Sweet Potato with bock choy and sesame seed or the Sesame Beef Bowl, with grass-fed steak, organic brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower and bok choy, and any number of seasonal fresh lemonades.

The restaurant will create 60 jobs including cashiers, servers, dishwashers, line cooks and prep cooks.
