Comcast bringing 1,100 call-center jobs to Tucson

Comcast plans to hire 1,125 new workers for a call center to open later this year in Tucson, partly because of the area’s significant Spanish-speaking population.

Gov. Doug Ducey announced the cable giant’s plans from his offices Thursday to mark the largest expected corporate openings in Arizona during his tenure so far.
