Opponents of plans for the David Wright House in Arcadia are pointing to statements from two Phoenix City Council members while backers are reaching out to neighbors and are planning to submit plans to the city later this year.
The battle over the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house in Arcadia has two fronts. One is in the neighborhood trenches, where the David Wright House is located south of Camelback Mountain. The other is at Phoenix City Hall and the city council, which could decide later this year whether Wright House owner Zach Rawling can hold events and build an underground events center at the mid-century home.
