Glendale residential projects gain approval

City officials have recently approved two housing projects that are poised to bring hundreds of new residents to Glendale.

The Planning Commission, at its Aug. 6 meeting, approved a request from Coe & Van Loo Consultants LLC, on behalf of Del Pueblo Communities LLC, to rezone 36 acres of vacant land and a preliminary plat for a subdivision there.

Glendale 36 is anticipating 222 lots on that acreage, due east of Tarrington Ranch Park, which is at West Butler Drive and North 63rd Avenue.
