On September 16, Rose Law Group Director of Project Management Chris Webb was appointed to the Town of Queen Creek Planning Commission by the council.
The town council recently updated the town’s zoning ordinance and delegated some additional approval authority to the planning commission. Going forward it will be extremely important that the planning commission continue to be comprised of qualified individuals who understand land use and development issues and who will look out for the best interest of the town. There are some really exciting things happening in Queen Creek right now. Webb says, “I feel like we’re on the verge of really coming into our own and realizing a vision of the town that has been in the works for many years. I’m excited for the opportunity to be a small part of that and hope to be able to help Queen Creek continue to grow and prosper as new, quality projects come into the town.”
Webb has been a resident of Queen Creek for 11 years and is active member of his community. He says he is, “thrilled and honored by the appointment and really looking forward to working with the rest of the commission, town council, town staff and the development community to ensure that Queen Creek continues to be a great place to live and do business.”
The Queen Creek planning commission is comprised of seven members. They meet on the second Wednesday of each month. They advise the town council in decisions pertaining to amendments to the General Plan, the zoning ordinance and applications for development.
