Long-overdue clean up has finally begun at the Ahwatukee Lakes Golf Course.
Residents have been complaining about overgrown weeds at the closed golf course for months ever since The True Life Companies (TTLC) purchased the property. The weeds and dead trees were hardly being taken care of before that, but neighbors say the land has gotten even worse recently.
Phoenix Councilman Sal DiCiccio said the city has been getting several complaints about the weeds and dead trees on the course, including from him.
