After narrowing the search for a new city manager, the City of Glendale has reduced the finalists for the job to two, after nearly eight months of searching.
Kevin Phelps, a current deputy county executive in Pierce County, Wash., and John Pombier, a current Mesa assistant city manager, have been selected as the two finalists.
Both will have all-day interviews in mid-November, at which time they will meet with the mayor, city council, and other city leaders.
