Holding company bringing Arizona General Hospital to Mesa

Adeptus Health will create a new 92KSF medical surgical hospital in Mesa at the corner of Elliot and Ellsworth roads under plans submitted to the city. The facility is planned to open in Spring 2017 and will operate under Adeptus’ Dignity Health banner.

Adeptus is a holding company with 70 facilities in its network. Its portfolio includes Dignity Health and First Choice Emergency Room. Dignity Health is a major national medical care provider with locations in 21 states. Adeptus’ Arizona facilities include the existing Arizona General Hospital in Laveen and seven other hospitals around the Valley, as well as several area freestanding emergency rooms and urgent care centers.
