Our month-long contest to crown the Valley’s top power couple finished up this week and the results turned out rosy for one Scottsdale pair.
Attorney and public relations power couple, Jordan and Jason Rose, garnered 23 percent of the vote to win our inaugural contest after five weeks of voting.
Of the nearly 6,000 votes cast, the Roses netted more than 1,300 of them, which was nearly double the amount of the second-place couple, rock ‘n roll legend Alice Cooper and his philanthropic wife, Sheryl. The Coopers had 772 votes or 13 percent of the total.
With a crop of 15 couples (and the double couple restaurateur team of Phoenix-based Upward Projects), votes were hard to come by for many of the duos in our contest.
We had nothing riding on this other than bragging rights and some good fun. We want to thank all the readers who voted and our nominated couples who, regardless of the final tally, do great work in a variety of fields and areas all across the Valley and beyond.
