Arizona’s first Andaz luxury hotel will open this spring in Paradise Valley, joining London, Tokyo, New York City and West Hollywood on the short list of cities home to the boutique Hyatt brand launched in 2007.
San Diego developer Chelsea Hospitality Partners bought the now-closed Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort and an adjacent lot in 2014 and poured $55 million into a major redevelopment project that will bring 201 rooms, swimming pools, a spa and meeting space near the northwestern corner of Scottsdale Road and McDonald Drive.
