Initial results from a regional transit survey show a desire to expand operations in Casa Grande.
However, Coolidge officials say Casa Grande officials have shown little interest in contributing to the Central Arizona Regional Transit, or CART, service.
Initial findings from surveys and marketing were presented to the Coolidge City Council last week.
Moore & Associates was selected by the Arizona Department of Transportation and the CART board to conduct two surveys last year, one on behalf of the city’s public transit service, Cotton Express, and one on behalf of the intercommunity service, CART.
