Lawmaker’s campaign Website hacked after rowdy election hearing

Rep. J.D. Mesnard, who has sponsored controversial legislation this session and was criticized for his role in Monday’s rowdy House hearing on the disastrous presidential preference election, appears to have come under fire online from his critics. The Chandler Republican’s campaign Website has been hacked.

Tuesday morning, hackers had transformed his campaign website into a porn site for those viewing it on a desktop computer. And users visiting the site from a mobile device were sent to a game app by the creators of Candy Crush. None of the other campaign sites of committee members appeared to have been hacked.
