The Mercatus Center at George Mason University’s 2016 study: THE IMPACT OF FEDERAL REGULATION ON THE 50 STATES, reveals that while the economies of states like Wyoming are being crippled by federal regulations, Arizona’s economy is among the least impacted by federal regulations. The study focuses on how federal policies that target specific sectors of the economy affect states in different ways.
