Arizona voters could decide whether utilities must pay full credit for surplus solar energy

A new initiative seeks to amend the state Constitution to protect solar

The committee pushing the initiative is lead by a former state utility regulator

The solar industry is hoping Arizona voters will come to the rescue of rooftop solar energy, which is facing a variety of proposals from state utilities that will make it less economical for homeowners.
