Valley Metro re-evaluating Glendale light rail route

After Glendale City Council discussed changes to the proposed light rail planned for downtown Glendale, Valley Metro planners have begun re-evaluating the seven-mile extension.

Valley Metro’s recommendation at the March 10 workshop was for the system to travel north on 51st Avenue to Glenn Drive, then west, and end at 58th Avenue.
