Legal experts say the addition of two new justices to the Arizona Supreme Court will hardly be noticeable as long as the panel that screens judicial applicants remains free of politics.
Mark Harrison, an attorney who has argued more than 50 cases before the high court, said the thing to watch now will be who Gov. Doug Ducey appoints to the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments, the panel that screens applicants for the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
