Salmon, Sinema weigh in on Trump, congressional inaction

“This is the year of the middle finger voter,” said Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Phoenix, during an East Valley Partnership luncheon this week, describing the state of this year’s presidential election cycle.

“No one in Washington knows what to expect in November,” said Sinema. “Many of Donald Trump’s supporters may just go into the (voting) booth, vote for Trump and leave without voting all the way down the ticket.”
