The city of Buckeye has landed a 200,000-square-foot glass manufacturing facility from Minnesota-based Cardinal IG.

The $40 million manufacturing plant, just north of the city’s downtown area, has started hiring the 100 it will employ in the manufacturing of insulating products used in residential windows and doors.

The manufacturing facility will be locating in the area with the Walmart distribution center and Clayton Homes manufacturing operations.
