Property tax relief may be on its way to Pinal

County officials across the state are breathing a sigh of relief that the Arizona Legislature didn’t pass a number of bills deemed harmful to counties.

Craig Sullivan with the County Supervisors Association provided an update Wednesday on the past session of the Arizona Legislature to the Pinal County Board of Supervisors. He said the Legislature’s actions this year provided a total of $18.3 million in financial relief to counties, including almost $1.3 million to Pinal. In all, 41 bills were amended or defeated that would have harmed counties, Sullivan said.
