PeoriaPeoria Times asked for statements from each candidate running in the 2016 Peoria City Council race. Here’s what they had to say:

Councilmember Bill Patena – Candidate for Ironwood district

Four years ago, I decided to run for Peoria City Council because I did not like what was going on with the current council at that time.

I worked for the city for 18 years and have lived in Peoria since 1997. The city has been very good to me and my family, and being on the city council is my way of giving back to the city I love.
