Atieva unveils its Tesla rival; factory site coming to Casa Grande. As first reported Thursday by Rose Law Group Reporter, “Atieva will unveil its Tesla rival to select people Friday, ahead of a full launch in December, according to two sources close to the company.” Additionally, tech news site Recode reports that “Atieva has… chosen a site in Arizona to produce the vehicle, code-named Atvus… [T]he plant would build 20,000 cars a year, eventually rising to 130,000.” This will be great for Casa Grande, Pinal County and all of Arizona! First Look: Roosevelt Row hotel FOUND:RE Phoenix opens Tuesday.  (If this headline reminds you of the subject line from some weird piece of spam email, you’re not alone.) “A once-shuttered hotel [the Lexington at Central and Portland] will reopen [as the FOUND:RE Phoenix]…. Analyst: Construction jobs hurting. “Arizona did add 2,700 construction jobs last month and 10,400 since the same time last year. But that still leaves overall construction employment at 139,200. UNLAWFUL BALLOON PAYMENTS?Goldwater Institute case: Lawsuit over Pima County’s space balloon deal moves ahead. “Superior Court Judge Catherine Woods has ruled… [that] the [institute] has ‘alleged sufficient facts … to state a valid claim for a violation of the gift clause’ [by Pima County (in) its deal with space balloon company World View]. Goldwater is asking the court to declare the World View deal unlawful’ and prevent county officials from spending any money on the project….
