Arizona Diamondbacks ‘deeply offended’ by stadium group claims on nixed Chase Field sale

The Arizona Diamondbacks are taking umbrage at comments made by a representative of a private group that wanted to buy Chase Field from Maricopa County in a letter nixing a potential $60 million sale.

Milwaukee attorney Martin Greenberg wrote the county Monday terminating Stadium Real Estate Partners potential purchase of Chase Field. The county owns the ballpark.
