Carey Herbert Will Be Key Addition to RLG’s Highly Regarded Corporate Transactions Department
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) – Rose Law Group pc is proud to announce the hiring of Carey Herbert to the RLG’s Business and Corporate Transactions Department. At RLG, Herbert will provide counsel and legal direction to individuals and companies of all sizes throughout Arizona in a wide variety of industries and businesses on issues involving complicated mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as corporate law.
An alumnus of the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Management, Herbert most recently served as President and Assistant General Counsel for a real estate investment sponsor in Scottsdale, AZ, where she provided leadership and oversight of the sponsor’s funds. She was also responsible for organizing, implementing, and overseeing their operations. As part of their legal team, Herbert managed a variety of matters, including securities, corporate, product structuring and immigration, financial pro forma and fund modeling.
Before that, she spent eight years as a member of the corporate securities department in the Phoenix office of an international law firm, where her corporate securities transactional practice included private and public securities offerings, IPOs, public company reporting, mergers and acquisitions, banking, and financial restructuring. She also worked with Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in New York City.
