An area that is a point of community pride in Scottsdale is on the road to becoming even better.
A draft master plan to improve Scottsdale’s Civic Center Mall was unveiled Jan. 25 in a public meeting, with many of the 50 residents attending generally voicing approval of the proposed changes.
The proposed plan would expand green space in the main center of the mall, make the Civic Center area more visible and accessible from downtown Scottsdale, and create a more alluring entertainment venue, architect Diane Reicher Jacobs and Scottsdale city officials told the crowd at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
