Phil Mickelson buying Chandler’s Ocotillo links

A group led by pro golfer Phil Mickelson is buying Chandler’s Ocotillo Golf Club with its 27 holes surrounded by man-made lakes.

Mickelson is purchasing the links with his long-time coach and agent Steve Loy, his brother, former ASU golf coach Tim Mickelson, and well-known Valley developer Spike Lawrence.

The deal for the Valley course near Alma School and Ocotillo roads hasn’t closed, and the price isn’t being disclosed yet.
