County says farmer holding up project to connect Gantzel Road with Hunt Highway

Since 2002, the idea of connecting Gantzel Road to Hunt Highway has been in the plans for Pinal County.

To the 90,000 residents who live in the area, that extension is past due. But according to a county press release, negotiations with an area farmer are holding up the project.

County officials say the road is a high priority and the project has to be completed as soon as possible or funding could be lost.
